Cyber Incident Response Services

The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) is soliciting proposals for Cyber Incident Response (IR) services. These services are intended to prepare for and respond to major unplanned or unanticipated cyber events. The scope of work includes incident response preparation, kickoff and environment familiarization, and cybersecurity incident response services for various cyber events such as malware, ransomware, data breaches, account compromises, and Denial of Service attacks. The selected vendor must provide 24/7/365 availability and ensure their incident response team members hold certifications like CISSP, GCIH, or ECIH. Team members must be full-time employees of the respondent and available at TRS locations (Austin, El Paso, London, and Rio Grande Valley) within 24 hours when required. TRS also requires that any TRS data be maintained within the continental United States.
