Description

The State of Georgia is seeking qualified contractors to provide rental and lease-to-purchase equipment, including all labor, materials, parts, delivery, maintenance, inspections, training, and telematics support. This equipment will support various state operations such as municipal waste operations, public works, public utilities, construction, and emergency response activities. The equipment provided must be fully operational and compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The scope of work is divided into four classification groups: Group 1 - Light-Duty Equipment (GVW up to 10,000 pounds), Group 2 - Medium-Duty Equipment (GVW 10,001 to 26,000 pounds), Group 3 - Heavy-Duty Equipment (GVW 26,001 pounds and above), and Group 4 - Off-Road Equipment (construction, industrial, and specialty equipment). Contractors must demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience supporting municipal fleet operations and maintain a service facility within 50 miles of Atlanta for diagnostics, major repairs, warranty service, and preventative maintenance. Mobile service technicians must be available for on-site service within the metropolitan Atlanta area, with 24/7 emergency standby support required. All equipment will undergo inspection by the State of Georgia Fleet Management Division prior to deployment, with a requirement for prompt correction or replacement of any rejected equipment. The contract will maintain a minimum 90% on-time delivery rate and 90% uptime rate, with emergency repair responses required within four hours in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Contractors are responsible for preventative maintenance, inspections, and recall repairs, utilizing certified technicians and OEM or equivalent parts. Equipment must comply with OSHA, ANSI, DOT, and all applicable federal, state, and City requirements, with preferred features including backup cameras, reflective striping, and telematics systems.
