Temporary/Relief Physician/Surgeon and Chief Medical Officer Services

The California Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified vendors to contract for temporary/relief physician/surgeon and Chief Medical Officer services for the Veterans Home of California at West Los Angeles. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis to benefit and care for residents. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, staff, transportation, licenses, permits, and any other necessary items, unless otherwise stated. Providers must meet all required licenses, permits, and certifications, and possess a minimum of twelve continuous months of experience within the last three years performing similar services. The contractor must also ensure all providers have completed any required orientation and training, and possess current CPR and BLS certification. Providers must be able to communicate effectively and will be required to wear identification badges at all times while at the Home. Services are to be provided at the Home, upon request and in compliance with the terms of the agreement.
