Fayetteville State University Telescope System and Observatory Equipment

Fayetteville State University is procuring a telescope system, including a PlaneWave CDK550 Telescope, steel pier, controllers, focuser, rotator, and various accessories, for the Planetarium located within the Lyons Science Building. This procurement is part of an observatory renovation project. The university is seeking competitive offers from qualified vendors and installers to provide and install the requested equipment. Delivery and installation are expected within 90 consecutive calendar days after receipt of purchase order, with a contract effective date of May 15, 2026, or later. Bids are due by May 6, 2026, and will be opened virtually via Microsoft Teams.
