Aircraft Structural Panel Manufacturing Services

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking information from potential sources capable of manufacturing aircraft structural panels (NSN 1560011712668, Part Number 65C18560-604). The anticipated solicitation date is on or about May 30, 2026, with a response date of May 30, 2026. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract awarded IAW FAR Part 15, with the final decision based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website (https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/). Potential sources must be able to provide all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for new manufacture, including component parts, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging, and shipping. Capabilities in supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets are desired. The estimated quantity is 441 days ARO (After Receipt of Order). This is a non-commercial item and will be solicited as unrestricted. This is a sources sought notice for market research purposes only and does not constitute a request for proposal or an offer. Responses are not binding and no funds are available to pay for preparation. Any submitted information is strictly voluntary. Surplus dealers, small business dealers, and distributors are invited to respond with a completed surplus certificate or adequate traceability documentation, along with quantity available and price. The government may alter its acquisition strategy if purchasing existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI).
