Corrosion Resistant Steel Sheets

The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for CORROSION RESISTANT STEEL 13-8PH SHEETS, IAW UNS S13800 AND ASTM A693. The material is for the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC). Key requirements for delivery include: 1. Material must be delivered on a flatbed truck. 2. Material must be securely banded to a pallet/skid. 3. Loads containing multiple heat numbers must be palletized and separated by heat number. 4. All raw material must be properly labeled with easy-to-read tags and must contain the proper certificates of conformance and certified test results. 5. Bundles may not exceed 5,000 lbs. Failure to meet these requirements may result in rejection of the material. Early delivery is encouraged and authorized if at no additional cost to the Government.
