The Colonial and Red Clay Consolidated School Districts are seeking proposals for speech-language therapy services. The selected vendor will be responsible for assessing students to identify needs impacting educational performance, generating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), administering assessments, collecting and interpreting data, summarizing results for IEP development, collaborating with teams, and maintaining accurate records. The scope of work also includes writing evaluation reports, communicating with related service providers and school personnel, following appropriate protocols, and establishing cooperative relationships. The contract period is from August 3, 2026, through August 2, 2027, with an option to renew. Proposals must include a budget detailing the cost for services and the optimal number of students the vendor can serve, with an hourly rate specified for all services. The districts reserve the right to award the contract to multiple vendors. Vendors must provide three business references and possess a current State of Delaware Speech and Language Hearing License, a Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology, and evidence of a criminal background check.
