Fire Station Alert System for Macon-Bibb County

Macon-Bibb County is soliciting proposals for a Fire Station Alert System (FSAS) to enhance firefighter safety, improve incident notification accuracy and speed, and reduce turnout times. The system will be deployed across all 22 existing fire stations. The selected vendor will provide a turnkey solution including hardware, software, integration with the County CAD system (Tyler Technologies), installation, testing, training, and ongoing support with a minimum one-year warranty and 24/7/365 technical support. Key system requirements include automated call alerts directly from CAD, computer-generated voice announcements, end-to-end alerting latency of less than one second, redundant communication paths, room-specific alerting, and visual display boards. Compliance with NFPA 1221/1225 standards and ADA visual alert guidance is required. The County reserves the right to award bids to local businesses within 5% of the lowest responsive bid.
