Structural Stabilization and Rehabilitation Services for Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site

This project requires comprehensive rehabilitation services for the Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site, focusing on the historic Booker T. Washington Home, known as "The Oaks." The scope of work includes structural stabilization of porch beams, repair and replacement of exterior wood siding, rehabilitation of windows and doors with UV protective reglazing, exterior safety and visitor access preparation, and protection of interior artifacts. The project aims to correct critical exterior deterioration, stabilize structural elements, improve environmental protection, and gather information for future rehabilitation projects, ensuring the building can safely reopen for public tours and programming. Work will be performed in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties and NPS Historic Preservation & Cultural Resource Guidelines. The period of performance is estimated at 8 months of construction activity. The solicitation is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Award will be made on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis.
