Maintenance and Repair Services for Walk-In Coolers and Freezers

The Arlington Independent School District (AISD) is seeking a Refrigeration Specialist Vendor to repair and/or replace walk-in coolers and freezer refrigeration equipment. This bid covers all labor, parts, and supplies required for these services on an as-needed basis. All new work should be warranted for at least one year, where applicable. Vendors are required to provide their regular business hour service call rate and trip charge, after-hour service call rate and trip charge, hourly labor rates for various refrigeration repair services, hourly labor rates for preventative maintenance, mark-up on refrigeration parts, and service response times for both business hours and after-hours emergency calls. Technicians must possess experience and knowledge of KE2 Therm controllers, software, programming, hardware, and operating systems used throughout the district. A criminal background check is required for all outside contractor employees who service AISD campuses where children are present. A current certificate of liability insurance must be on file with the purchasing department before any work begins.
