Turbine Generator Maintenance Services

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires a maintenance contract for a Solar Turbines Taurus 3500 kw natural gas turbine and related equipment located at their laboratory facility in Ames, Iowa. The contract will cover OEM authorized service and maintenance, including scheduled inspections (4,000 and 8,000-hour services), condition assessments, and emergency response for warranty claims. The contractor must use only OEM-authorized parts and provide a site visit report within two business days of any visit. The period of performance is one 12-month base year with one 12-month option year. Work hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM Central Time, with advance notice required for shutdowns outside the June 15th to September 15th electrical peak season.
