Description

This project involves significant improvements to the water distribution system for the City of Winston-Salem. The scope of work includes the installation of approximately 60 linear feet of 4-inch waterline, 650 linear feet of 6-inch waterline, and 5,640 linear feet of 8-inch waterline within residential neighborhoods and downtown corridors. Additionally, approximately 3,530 linear feet of 12-inch waterline will be installed along a rural highway. Both the 8-inch and 12-inch waterline installations will include segments requiring bore and jack methods. The project also entails the installation of 13 owner-provided Sampling Stations and 6 owner-provided Automatic Flushing Devices, as well as the removal of a valve vault and reconfiguration of existing waterline piping. Traffic control and site restoration are also key components of this project.
