Kern River Valley Restroom Services

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Bakersfield Field Office requires a contractor to provide pumping and cleaning services for vault-type toilets and additional portable toilets as needed in various locations within the Kern River Valley region. This includes the Keysville Special Recreation Management Area (SRMA) and Southern Sierra Recreation Sites at Walker Pass, Chimney Creek, and Long Valley Campground. The services encompass scheduled and on-call cleaning, pumping, and rental of portable toilets to maintain sanitary facilities. The contract period of performance is for one base year of 12 months, with four additional 12-month option years, running from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2031. The contractor will be responsible for cleaning interiors, restocking supplies, pumping waste, and providing portable toilets during peak periods. Response to BLM requests for pumping, service, or portable toilet rentals is required within 2 days.
