The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), is seeking information on potential sources for diagnostic medical physics inspection services. This is a Sources Sought announcement to gauge industry capabilities and size classifications, including large businesses and various small business categories (Service Disabled Owned, Veteran Owned Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), Small Disadvantaged, Women Owned, Small). The services required include on-site diagnostic medical physics support adhering to Joint Commission requirements and standards for medical imaging, as outlined in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The services will be performed at multiple locations including the James A. Haley VA Hospital and various outpatient clinics. The period of performance is anticipated to be from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2031, with a base year and four option years. Services include annual quality assurance testing and surveys of diagnostic imaging equipment, recertification of equipment after repairs, providing written reports, and immediate reporting of unsafe conditions. The contractor will also provide consultation for dose estimates, emergency response for equipment issues, and support for the JAHVH Radiation Safety Office.
