Machine Spindle Procurement

The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of a machine spindle, specifically a motorized, deep hole grinding spindle with a maximum RPM of 5,500. This acquisition is for internal use at the Rock Island Arsenal, Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) and is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 for commercial products and services. The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose quote is determined to be the lowest total evaluated price and conforms to the RFQ requirements. A one-year parts and labor warranty is required for the item and all associated tooling, commencing upon final acceptance by the Government. Quotes must be submitted via email and received by the closing date and time to be considered for award.
