Township of Freehold Special Shopping Mall Liquor Licenses

The Township of Freehold is issuing a public sale for two (2) Special Shopping Mall Liquor Licenses. Bids will be accepted from qualified bidders who meet the standards set forth in the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act, its regulations, the Freehold Township Code, and applicable local ordinances. The minimum acceptable bid for each license is $550,000.00. The licenses are specifically for establishments operating or planning to operate as food and beverage establishments within the Freehold Raceway Mall. Prospective bidders must demonstrate ownership or provide a contract or lease agreement for such an establishment. The license cannot be transferred for use outside of the Freehold Raceway Mall. Interested bidders must obtain and complete qualification forms from the Township Clerk's office. Pre-qualification documents and sealed bid packets must be submitted by Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Qualified bidders will have their bids considered. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
