Medical Laboratory and Pathology Services for VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System

The Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS) is looking to procure medical laboratory and pathology services. The selected contractor will be responsible for pre-analytic processing, analysis, and reporting of results for clinical and anatomical pathology specimens. VA will handle specimen collection, grossing (except for cytology), VistA accessioning, and preservation/storage of final slides and blocks, which must be returned to the VA. Services will be provided to three VA facilities: Omaha VA Medical Center, Lincoln Community Based Outreach Clinic (CBOC), and Grand Island Community Based Outreach Clinic (CBOC). This is a solicitation for a single-award, five-year, fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. The anticipated ordering period begins April 1, 2027, and concludes March 30, 2032.
