New Marquee Sign Construction at McKee Middle School

Montgomery Public Schools is soliciting sealed proposals for the construction of a new marquee sign at McKee Middle School in Montgomery, Alabama. The project number is 26-005-04. Bids must be received by 2:00 PM Central Time on Thursday, June 8, 2026, at 1718 Britton Lane, Montgomery, AL 36104. General Contractors are required to visit the site prior to submitting a proposal, arrange this visit with the school, and possess general liability and workman's compensation insurance. Bids should exclude taxes and be submitted on provided proposal forms. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to Montgomery Public Schools, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid but not exceeding $10,000.00, must accompany each proposal. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at the time of contract signing. Bidders must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and display their current license number on the sealed envelope.
