Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires M4-style rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, along with all associated parts and accessories. This requirement is for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to augment and replace existing rifles and supply parts for maintenance. The contract may also be available for use by other Federal Government Agencies. The scope includes various configurations of complete rifles, complete upper and lower receiver assemblies, and individual parts. Armorer training will also be provided throughout the contract period to ensure designated agency armorers achieve and maintain OEM Armorer Certification. Vendors will also provide administrative and logistical support, including customer service, shipping (FOB destination), and invoicing. All parts and assemblies must be interchangeable with MILSPEC M4-style AR platform rifles and meet stringent technical and performance specifications outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contract will have a five-year ordering period, with delivery orders having a potential 12-month extension. The solicitation is issued as a Small Business Set Aside.
