City of Eldon Police Department Vehicle Purchase

The City of Eldon, Missouri is soliciting written quotes for the purchase of one new vehicle for the Eldon Police Department. The vehicle will replace an existing patrol unit and must be equivalent in size, performance, durability, and suitability for law enforcement operations. Proposed vehicles must be police-rated or pursuit-rated, comparable in size and capability to a Ford Explorer police package, have four doors, all-wheel drive (AWD), and a gasoline or hybrid powertrain. New, used, demo, or previously titled vehicles will be considered, provided they are capable of full police upfitting. Each quote must include the vehicle's make, model, and model year, detailed specifications, police package details (if applicable), total purchase price (including any government or fleet pricing), estimated delivery timeframe, warranty information, and identification of any additional fees or costs. Quotes must be received by the City Clerk no later than May 5th, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. (CST). Submissions should be mailed or delivered in person to 101 S. Oak St., Eldon, MO 65026, and clearly labeled "RFQ - Police Patrol Vehicle". The City of Eldon reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, waive informalities, request clarification, and accept the quote deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
