Fiddiment Creek Sanitary Sewer Project

The Village of Homer Glen in Will County, Illinois is soliciting sealed proposals for the Fiddiment Creek Sanitary Sewer project, specifically along Cedar Road and 159th Street. Proposals must be submitted to Village Hall, 14240 W. 151st Street, Homer Glen, IL 60491, by 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 5, 2026, and will be publicly read aloud at 2:01 P.M. on the same day. Bids must be sealed, addressed to the Village of Homer Glen's Engineering Department, and clearly marked with the bidder's name and address, project name, and "SEALED BID". Bid documents, including specifications, are available from the Engineer, Robinson Engineering, Ltd., via email upon pre-qualification. Requests for bid documents will be accepted until 4:00 PM on June 4, 2026. Questions regarding the project must be emailed to bwestcott@homerglenil.org by 4:00 PM on May 29, 2026, with answers posted to the Village website by June 1, 2026. A bid bond of at least 5% of the bid amount and a performance bond of 100% of the bid amount are required. Bidders must adhere to prevailing wage rates established by the U.S. Department of Labor and the Davis Bacon Act, as well as all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. Prequalification is mandatory, requiring bidders to demonstrate completion of at least three municipal sewer projects in Illinois within the last five years. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
