Special Counsel for Vehicle Forfeiture Proceedings

Nassau County is seeking proposals for special counsel services to handle vehicle forfeiture proceedings. The selected firm will be responsible for drafting summons and complaints, conducting motion practice, making court appearances, negotiating settlements (subject to County Attorney approval), coordinating with auctioneers for forfeited vehicles, and providing all necessary legal services to represent the County in these proceedings.
