Hydraulic Rod Piston for KC-135 Aircraft

This is a Sources Sought notice for informational purposes only. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking manufacturers capable of producing a hydraulic rod piston, NSN: 1650-01-629-3529, Part Number: 527-19198-1. The solicitation, SPE4A526R0210, is anticipated to result in a non-commercial Firm Fixed Price Contract IAW FAR Part 15. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors. The solicitation date is anticipated to be on or about June 1, 2026, with a response date of May 17, 2026. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website (https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/). Surplus dealers, small business dealers, and distributors are invited to respond, providing quantity available and price. The government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. This NSN is non-commercial and will utilize solicitation and award procedures IAW FAR 15. This will be solicited as unrestricted. Terms are FOB Origin, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin.
