Elevator Maintenance and Repair Services for NYC Department of Correction Facilities

The New York City Department of Correction (DOC) is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive elevator maintenance and repair services for all DOC facilities. This includes scheduled maintenance (monthly, semi-annual, annual), necessary inspections, testing, filing of violation notices, and on-call diagnostic, repair, and replacement services. All labor, materials, parts, and equipment necessary for the safe and reliable operation of elevators, lifts, and dumbwaiters are required. The contract is for a period of 1,095 consecutive calendar days, with the possibility of two one-year renewals. The scope of work covers preventative maintenance, as well as scheduled and unscheduled repairs and replacements, ensuring all equipment complies with NYC codes and industry best practices. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining equipment in first-class operating condition, including motors, controllers, doors, safety devices, and pits. The contract also includes provisions for annual inspections and safety tests, as well as elevator painting repairs.
