Administration of Educational Academic Support for Nonpublic School Services

The Passaic City School District is soliciting proposals for the administration of educational academic support services for nonpublic schools, utilizing IDEA-B grant funds. This competitive contracting process aims to secure services for approximately 600 classified students requiring educational support throughout the academic school year. Services will be provided on-site at the schools needing assistance. The scope of work includes employing and supervising certified teachers, class paraprofessionals, counselors, and itinerant service providers. The selected vendor will also be responsible for producing and presenting professional development for nonpublic school administrators, teachers, and paraprofessionals to enhance their knowledge of special education students, procedures, and regulations. Key responsibilities include implementing student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), submitting annual progress reports, reassessing student performance, scheduling activities, and providing written reports for attendance and performance tracking. The vendor must also assist in preparing and submitting district-required reports by providing documentation and records of services.
