Description

The Equipment Leasing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of one (1) new 2026 model year Ford Transit T-350 Cargo Van AWD, extended length high roof configuration, or an approved equal that meets or exceeds all specified requirements. The van will be used by the Bureau of Police. The vehicle must be an all-wheel-drive cargo van with a two-passenger seating capacity. Key powertrain specifications include a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine or approved equal, an automatic transmission (minimum 10-speed), and gasoline fuel. The van should have a wheelbase of approximately 148 inches, a GVWR of approximately 9,500 lbs, and a payload capacity suitable for municipal operations. It must also feature dual alternators (minimum 250 amps each), dual AGM batteries, and an onboard power system (minimum 400W), along with multiple 12V power outlets and an extended-range fuel tank (minimum 30 gallons). Exterior requirements include a white color, black bumpers and trim, power side mirrors, and tinted glass. The interior should have cloth or vinyl front bucket seats, vinyl or rubber flooring, and standard commercial fleet operations suitability. Technology features include an integrated infotainment system with a touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, and steering wheel-mounted controls. Safety systems include a backup camera, backup alarm, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning/automatic emergency braking, parking sensors, electronic stability control, and a full airbag system. The vehicle will be delivered fully assembled, tested, operational, clean, fueled, and free of defects and damage, with a valid Pennsylvania State Inspection and emissions testing completed (if applicable). Manufacturer's standard OEM chassis warranty is required, with an engine warranty of a minimum of three (3) years, and extended warranty coverage up to five (5) years or 100,000 miles preferred.
