Electrical Upgrades - East Region

This solicitation is for Project No. 47816-E, a contract for Electrical Work, specifically Electrical Upgrades in the East Region for the Office of Parks, Recreation/Historic Preservation. The work will take place at various locations across multiple counties in New York. Bids will be received by the Office of General Services (OGS), Design & Construction Group (D&C), Division of Contract Management until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. A bid security in the amount of $201,500 is required. The estimated contract amount is between $8,000,000 and $9,000,000. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. OGS is committed to promoting opportunities for New York State-certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs). An overall goal of 30% for MWBE participation is established, with 15% for Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBE) and 15% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE). Additionally, there is a goal of 6% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBS) participation for the E trade contractor. Bidders are expected to make good faith efforts to promote and assist in the participation of MWBEs and SDVOBS.
