Description

This cooperative agreement, administered by the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) of the Department of War (DoW), aims to fund a contractor for comprehensive bus transportation services for DoW employees. The primary objective is to establish and operate a continuous express shuttle bus service, Route A90, connecting the Pentagon Transit Center (PTC) and the Mark Center Station (MCS) facility. This service is crucial for ensuring reliable and efficient ground transportation for DoW employees in the National Capital Region. The scope of services includes providing driver-operated shuttle buses, maintaining and inspecting all vehicles for safety and reliability, adhering to all necessary licensing and security requirements, securing appropriate vehicle insurance and liability coverage, and ensuring buses meet federal capacity and accessibility standards. The service will operate Monday through Friday, with buses running every 10 minutes during peak hours and every 15 minutes during non-peak hours. The period of performance includes a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods.
