Modoc County Road Department is soliciting bids for two contracts related to asphaltic emulsions. Contract #26-001 involves the delivery of Tack Oil (CSS1) to the Modoc County Road Department Yard at 1610 Oak St., Alturas, CA. The vendor will be responsible for transferring the material to a county-owned storage container. Deliveries must be completed by 1:00 PM on June 15th, 2026. Contract #26-002 is for "on-call" delivery and spreading of Chip Oil (PMCRS2h) and Fog Oil (CQS1h) for county-wide chip seal projects at various locations. The vendor will be responsible for coordinating delivery dates and services with the Road Department Superintendent. This contract requires two spread trucks. Tentative delivery dates and quantities for specific projects are provided, with operations starting the week of August 3rd, 2026 for chip seal and August 10th, 2026 for fog seal in the Newell District. Materials furnished must conform to the 2015 Standard Specifications of the California Department of Transportation.
