Learning Management System (LMS/LXP) for Alameda County
County of Alameda, CA General Services Agency-Procurement
Alameda County is procuring a cloud-based Learning Management System/Learning Experience Platform (LMS/LXP) to manage various aspects of employee training and development. This includes tracking instructor-led training, online learning, informal learning, and social learning, while also supporting functionalities such as onboarding, performance management, engagement, and workforce planning. The County requires a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that is web-based and accessible 24/7, with no hardware or network administration obligations for the County. The system must integrate with the County's Human Resources Management System (HRMS), PeopleSoft, and other internal systems. Key requirements include robust reporting, certification management, enhanced access controls, integration reliability, administrative efficiency, mobile capability, single sign-on (SSO) functionality, and compliance with ADA Section 508. The contract will be for an initial three-year term, with an option to renew for two additional years. The current LMS is sunsetting, and the County is seeking a replacement that improves platform stability, reporting accuracy, and overall capabilities.
