The United States Air Force is seeking a mobile fire pump testing and training unit, specifically the Draft Commander 3000. This unit must be capable of performing true pump tests from draft, requiring a primer, and adhering to NFPA 1911 (2017 Edition) standards. The system needs to support pump testing up to 3,000 GPM and facilitate training operations using recycled water. The unit will be mounted on a purpose-built, heavy-duty aluminum transporter with specific dimensions and weight requirements. It must include a minimum 3,000-gallon capacity poly reservoir with integrated drafting pit, cavitation-control baffles, and a water-cooling system. The drafting system requires two 6-inch drafting tubes with swivels and hard suction hoses. Flow measurement and discharge will be managed through aluminum manifolds and pitot compartments, with NFPA-compliant pressure relief valves. The system must also include a portable monitoring station with calibrated gauges for pitot, vacuum, and pressure readings, along with necessary hoses and charts. Additional requirements include hose storage, an integrated fire hose tester, and various accessories such as a spare tire, protective cover, gauge test kit, and adapters.
