Description

NASA's Technology Transfer Program is seeking inquiries from companies interested in obtaining license rights to commercialize, manufacture, and market a new transparent electrodynamic dust shield (EDS) technology. This technology is designed to reduce dust accumulation on surfaces, which is crucial for lunar missions where dust can damage equipment. The developed EDS operates at half the voltage of existing technologies and is 90% thinner, making it suitable for integration onto transparent surfaces across various industries. License rights may be issued on an exclusive or nonexclusive basis and may include specific fields of use. NASA provides no funding in conjunction with these potential licenses. The technology is identified by the patent number KSC-TOPS-99.
