Bakersfield Gateway Armory BMS Replacement
California Military Department
The California Military Department is soliciting bids for the replacement of building management system (BMS) controls at the Bakersfield Gateway Armory. The project requires the contractor to provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees necessary to complete the work. The scope of work includes removing the existing Direct Digital Control (DDC) system and replacing it with a new system, including all components such as thermostats, control panels, valves, and damper actuators. New thermostats with CO2 sensors will be installed in classrooms and conference rooms, along with a new computer and a fully functional DDC system as per the attached specifications. A mandatory pre-bid job walk is scheduled for April 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Questions are due by April 30, 2026, and bids are due by May 14, 2026.
