The West Virginia Department of Tourism is seeking bids for the complete, turnkey installation of commercial-grade safety/security window film on specified glazing panels at the Culture Center located at 1900 Kanawha Blvd E, Charleston, West Virginia. The project requires all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and ancillary items. The completion deadline for this project is May 18, 2026. The scope of work includes site verification, surface preparation, installation of specified window film on both interior and exterior sides of thirteen (13) 8' x 21' panels, four (4) 5'10" x 13'2" panels, and eight (8) 2'9" x 6'4" door panels. The window film must be professional-grade, a minimum of 8 mil safety/security film equivalent to Armourcoat 8mil Clear HC, with specific performance characteristics including 99% UV rejection, 88% visible light transmittance, and the capability to hold shattered glass in place. Installation must be performed by trained and certified installers, ensuring no bubbling, peeling, or distortion, and maintaining a uniform appearance. The vendor must also provide a minimum ten (10) year manufacturer and installation warranty.
