Infectious Medical Waste Disposal Services

The County of Greenville is soliciting sealed proposals for comprehensive infectious medical waste disposal services. This includes the collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal of infectious medical waste generated at designated County facilities such as the Detention Center, EMS, and Animal Care Services. The contract is expected to commence on July 1, 2025, with an initial term of one year and the possibility of four annual renewals. The County reserves the right to award the contract to one or more vendors and may adjust service locations as needed throughout the contract period. Services must be performed in a safe, efficient, and professional manner, strictly adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and South Carolina Department of Environmental Services requirements.
