Description

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation is seeking on-call maintenance, repair, emergency response, modification, and upgrade services for traffic signal and traffic control systems throughout the state. The project includes preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, knockdown restoration, equipment replacement, and system improvements to ensure proper operation. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) Highway Division in Traffic Signals to bid on this project. The contract includes participation requirements for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) at 6%, Women Business Enterprises (WBE) at 10%, and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (VOBE) at 3%. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit of 5% of the bid amount. Bids are subject to prevailing wage rates as per M.G.L. Ch. 149.
