Construction of 2026 Transient Hangar at Falls International Airport

The International Falls - Koochiching County Airport Commission is soliciting bids for the construction of a new transient aircraft hangar. The project scope includes the construction of the hangar itself, erosion control measures, storm sewer pipe relocation, electrical component installation and rerouting, site grading, mechanical component installation, hydraulic lift door installation, tie-ins to existing utilities, and concrete apron construction. Bids will be received electronically via QuestCDN until 1:00 p.m. CDT on Thursday, June 18, 2026. A virtual bid opening will be conducted via Microsoft Teams at the same time. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. The Bidding Documents can be viewed online for free or purchased digitally for a fee. This project is subject to minimum wages and labor standards set by the US Department of Labor and the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. A bid security of 5 percent of the bid amount is required. The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
