Spruce Green Twill Fabric for Tabor City Sewing Plant

This Invitation for Bids (IFB) seeks to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract for the supply and delivery of Spruce Green Twill fabric for the Tabor City Sewing Plant. The fabric will be used for processing products and services to meet customer requirements. Deliveries will be on an "as needed" basis during the contract period, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantities. Samples of the Spruce Green Twill are available upon request with a pre-paid shipping label sent to lorraine.middleton@dac.nc.gov. The contract is intended to be for a 3-year term, beginning upon final execution. The fabric must meet specific requirements including color, weight (7.2-7.7 oz/sq yd), width (64" cuttable), yarn size, weave (2x1 twill), fiber content (65% polyester, 35% cotton), tensile strength, tear strength, and be of domestic origin for dye and finisher. Shrinkage should not exceed 3%, and only vat and dispersal dye methods are permitted. The fabric must be first quality only. Delivery is expected within 30 consecutive calendar days after receipt of a purchase order to Tabor City Sewing Plant at 4600 Swamp Fox Hwy. 904 W, Tabor City, NC 28463, with an appointment required prior to delivery.
