The National Institutes of Health (NIH), specifically the Division of Veterinary Resources (DVR), requires comprehensive preventive maintenance services for NIH-owned 3M Steri Vac GS5 Ethylene Oxide (EO) Sterilizers and their associated 50A Abator systems. These services are critical for maintaining aseptic techniques and compliance with various regulatory standards. The contract also includes the supply of Ethylene Oxide consumables, specifically 4-100 ETOCartridges, on an as-needed basis. The services will be performed at two locations: NIH Building 14E, Room 119A in Bethesda, MD, and the NIH Animal Center, Building 102 in Poolesville, MD. The contractor must be the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or an OEM-authorized service provider with factory-trained technicians. The maintenance includes semi-annual inspections, cleaning, calibration, adjustments, and replacement of critical components to prevent failure. Unlimited interim service calls during normal business hours are also included, along with documentation of all services performed and applicable engineering updates. The contract also covers the supply of manufacturer-approved ethylene oxide sterilization cartridges.
