Electrical Supplies and Hardware Pre-qualification

The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) is seeking to pre-qualify suppliers for the supply of electrical supplies and hardware. This contract will have an initial term of one year, commencing September 1, 2021, with the possibility of four additional one-year renewal periods, extending through August 31, 2026. The DSBN aims to establish a list of pre-qualified suppliers to provide coverage throughout the Niagara Region. Suppliers can submit proposals at any time during the contract duration, and additional suppliers will be added as they are reviewed. The objective is to establish a list of suppliers with storefronts located in suitable proximity to DSBN operating locations within the Niagara Region, facilitating the pickup of low-dollar value and repetitive supplies with minimal administrative expense. Representative items may include receptacles, wire, breakers, starters, and FS boxes, though this list is not exhaustive. Purchases will be made on an as-needed basis by DSBN personnel, with the possibility of higher-value purchases requiring quotes from pre-qualified suppliers. The DSBN serves 12 municipalities in the Niagara Region, encompassing 79 elementary and 20 secondary schools, along with administrative centers.
