Description

This solicitation is for the repair, removal, replacement, and refurbishment of all windows in Buildings 4, 8, and 9 at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System. The scope of work includes the safe removal of lead and asbestos-containing materials associated with the windows, as well as the installation of new window frames, sashes, screens, and storm windows. The contractor will also be responsible for patching and painting walls, ceiling restoration, trim and millwork installation, and repairing any damaged items. Construction activities will be conducted behind proper barriers in an occupied building, with work hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Weekend and night work may be approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The period of performance is 415 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with a 60-day window for badging submissions prior to the NTP.
