Banking Services for the Town of Irmo

The Town of Irmo is soliciting proposals from qualified financial institutions to provide a full range of banking services. The objective is to streamline cash handling, enhance fund availability, and improve treasury management through technology. Services may include general account management, reporting, electronic fund transfers, positive pay, controlled disbursement, returned items processing, image capture, investment services, electronic receipt and payment platforms, and credit card services for Town purchases. The selected institution will be expected to review interest rates and Earnings Credit Rates quarterly. The Town aims to consolidate all banking services with a single institution. The Town is located in the South Carolina Midlands, approximately 10 miles northwest of Columbia. It spans about 7 square miles across Lexington and Richland Counties. The RFP requires financial institutions to be chartered in South Carolina and maintain a branch within seven miles of Irmo Town Hall. Proposals must be submitted by May 22, 2026.
