The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) is soliciting proposals for vending machine rental, products, and services. This contract will provide one food and one beverage vending machine for each of the MDVA locations in Montevideo and Silver Bay. The vending machines must be manufactured in 2012 or later, meet ADA requirements, and be certified by the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA). Key requirements include machines that accept one and five-dollar bills and quarters, a guaranteed delivery system, and LED lighting. The contractor will be responsible for installation, operation, maintenance, stocking (at least 70% capacity), and timely repairs (within 8 hours on weekdays, 48 hours on weekends/holidays). Machines inoperative for five days must be replaced. The contract term is anticipated to be from July 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with options to extend for an additional 24 months. The estimated contract value is $30,000 annually.
