Sale of Forest Products - Dutchess County

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) is soliciting bids for the sale of forest products. The sale includes significant quantities of Red Oak (115.4 MBF), Chestnut Oak (22.7 MBF), Black Oak (11.5 MBF), and White Oak (3.7 MBF), along with smaller amounts of Black Birch (0.13 MBF) and Red Maple (0.11 MBF). Additionally, 514 cords of Hardwood Pulp are available. Contract extensions may be granted at the DEC's discretion for up to 12 months per extension, not to exceed a total of 24 months, provided extenuating circumstances exist and requests are made in writing at least 60 days prior to the contract termination date. No businesses have been awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years.
