Second Mesa Day School (SMDS) is issuing this Request for Proposals for Financial, Accounting, and Business Services. The selected Offeror will be responsible for enhancing current financial and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with proper procurement, accounting, and reporting practices, and preparing necessary documentation for annual audits. The scope of work includes providing timely monthly reports on fiscal status and budget compliance, assisting with payroll, reconciliations, and journal entries, identifying in-house support services, and fostering greater in-house expertise. The Offeror will also provide general oversight and support for all business office functions, including making recommendations to the Board as needed. Proposals are due by 5:00 P.M. (MST) on June 4, 2026. Hopi, Indian, minority, and women-owned firms are encouraged to submit proposals. Sealed proposals will be opened on June 8, 2026, at the SMDS Administration Office in Second Mesa, Navajo County, Arizona. SMDS reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
