Water Service Line Exploratory Excavation

Des Moines Water Works is soliciting bids for exploratory excavation services to locate, expose, and backfill water service lines. The project requires a minimum of 100 addresses to be serviced, totaling approximately 200 excavations. Excavations will be performed between the water main and stop box, and between the stop box and meter, within the public right-of-way, in accordance with project specifications. The contractor may be directed to complete additional or alternate locations based on site conditions, pavement removal requirements, or utility conflicts.
