FNS Sanitation Service and Training

Jefferson County School District R-1 is seeking proposals for a comprehensive, full-service sanitation system and training program to support its Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) operations. The selected vendor will provide an integrated solution including on-site inspections, auditing services, reporting, and distribution of sanitation products and equipment to all district food service kitchens. A structured training program focused on the safe handling, storage, and use of chemicals and sanitation products is also required. Subcontracting is not permitted. The scope of work includes a complete sanitation system with standardized processes, a chemical inventory management system, protocols for monthly verifications, and development of written procedures for the HACCP plan. The vendor must provide color-coded Hazardous Materials Identification System (HMIS) Safety Data Sheets (SDS) compliant with GHS, and just-in-time product delivery of all chemicals, supplies, training materials, and dispensing equipment. A dedicated Account Manager with OSHA 30-hour certification and a HACCP-certified trainer are required. The proposal must include a syllabus of the proposed sanitation service, an outline of the training program, certifications of key personnel, and a summary of reporting capabilities. All materials must be in English and Spanish.
