The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of the General Services Division for parking lot repairs, asphalt paving, and curb markings at Parking Lot 8 in Charleston, WV. The vendor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the construction services, including any incidental work not explicitly detailed in the project plans. This includes asphalt paving, pavement and curb markings, and preparation of the area according to specifications, ensuring proper drainage and applying two coats of marking paint after the new asphalt has aged. The project involves cold milling existing asphalt pavement to a depth of 1.5 inches, patching surface depressions, and applying hot-mix asphalt base mix and surface course. The work also includes earth moving for subgrade preparation, sub-base course, and base course, ensuring proper compaction and grading. Pavement markings will be applied after the asphalt has aged for at least 30 days, with a second coat applied subsequently. The vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances, and procure all necessary permits and licenses.
