Agent of Record Services for Employee Benefits Consulting

Washington County, Oregon, through its Department of Human Resources, is soliciting proposals for an Agent of Record to provide comprehensive employee benefits consulting and actuarial services. The selected proposer will be responsible for routine group insurance benefit and employee wellness consulting, assisting with strategic planning for employee benefits and wellness, and developing creative solutions to limit annual rate increases. The scope of work also includes regular communication regarding plan changes, recommendations for value-added benefits, development of rate projections, annual rate analyses, and management of employee benefits RFPs. The proposer will also assist with integrated communication of benefit plans, provide guidance on benefit and wellness committees, and offer survey data of other employers' benefit plans. Additionally, the proposer will review benefit plans for compliance and advise on required postings and reporting. The contract term will be an initial three years, with the option to renew for up to five years.
