Library of Congress Digital/Analog Audio Equipment Repair
LIBRARY OF CONGRESS
The Library of Congress requires contractor support for the maintenance and repair of digital and analog audio playback/recording equipment located in the NAVCC Audio Lab at their Culpeper facility. The contractor will be responsible for repairing, refurbishing, or replacing equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality standards for audio preservation. This is a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) competition. The contract is structured as a Firm Fixed Price with a base period and four option years, with quarterly payments. Services include repair of an estimated 10-15 machines annually, with a one-year warranty for parts and workmanship after acceptance. Specific equipment formats covered include DAT, DTRS, ADAT, MO, CD/R, PCM-F1, and Compact Cassette machines. Technicians must have at least three years of experience with audio equipment repair. The Library will ship equipment to the contractor, and the contractor is responsible for return shipping costs.
